For Patients

Valet parking is available in the Pritzker Building garage – enter the garage on 3rd Street between 18th and 19th Streets – for patients and visitors at the rate of $5 per hour (or $35 maximum per day). Visitors can enter the garage on 3rd Street between 18th and 19th Streets on weekdays between 7:30 am–4:00 pm. To exit the garage after hours, visitors can retrieve keys/vehicles from the security desk on the first floor.

Patients and visitors can also park in the UCSF Illinois Street Garage, 590 Illinois Street, just one block from the Pritzker Building. Additional UCSF garages are also available on the Mission Bay campus.

Limited metered street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Please be sure to observe and obey all posted time limits.

Free shuttles provide transportation to UCSF faculty, staff, students, patients, patient family members, and visitors to all campus locations. All shuttles are ADA accessible and equipped with bike racks. For detailed information and shuttle schedules, please visit: UCSF Shuttles

Directions from the UCSF Shuttle Stop to the Nancy Friend Pritzker Psychiatry Building: 
All Red, Blue, and Grey shuttles stop at 1650 4th Street (west side). This walk takes about 10 minutes.

From 1650 4th Street:

• Head south on 4th Street.
• Continue straight past the hospital buildings onto Mariposa Street.
• Turn left on 18th Street and walk past Tennessee Street.
• The Nancy Friend Pritzker Psychiatry Building Entrance will be on your right.

The Pritzker Building is served directly by the SF Muni T-Third Street light rail line, as well as nearby stops for these bus routes: 15-Bayview Hunters Point Express, 22-Fillmore, 48-Quintara/24th Street, and 55-Dogpatch.

If you are visiting from outside San Francisco, you can use Caltrain, BART, AC Transit, Golden Gate Transit, or San Francisco Bay Ferry for quick and convenient connections to the SF Muni system. For schedules and a trip planner, visit sfmta.com/muni.

How to Get to the NTRC/Radiology Front Desk from the Main Lobby (675 18th Street)

• Proceed past security desk to elevator.
• Take elevator to the Lower Level, LL.
• Upon exiting the elevator, find the Radiology department door directly across from the elevator.
• Please ring doorbell for access.
• After entering, continue down the hallway to the NTRC/Radiology front desk.

Directions to the NTRC/Radiology Front Desk from the Pritzker Parking Garage

• Enter parking garage on Third Street between 18th and 19th Street.
• Upon arrival, valet your vehicle.
• After parking, proceed through the double doors into the building.
• Continue straight down the hallway, passing the elevators.
• Before reaching the end of the hallway, make a left turn to find the Radiology department door.
• Please ring doorbell for access.
• After entering, continue down the hallway to the Radiology front desk.
